Marketing Death Star

Your whole go-to-market stack, wired together and run as one system you own, so you can change tools, channels and targeting as fast as the market changes.

For founders, CEOs and heads of sales or marketing with a small team and a large, disjointed stack. Also for firms with several portfolio companies: one system, configured for each.

Which accounts should we work this week, and what has already touched them?

“We have the data tool, the email tool and the dialer. The handoffs between them are a person and a spreadsheet.”
“Every time we change our target list, three tools have to be reloaded by hand.”
“Our rep can’t see that marketing emailed the account last week before he calls it.”
“We’d switch email vendors tomorrow if it didn’t mean rebuilding everything.”

An operating layer over the tools you already use.

It holds one account and contact model, pulls targets from the data sources you already pay for, scores and segments them on signals you define, and pushes each account into the right channel at the right time: a call, an email sequence, a LinkedIn touch, an ad audience. Every touch is recorded back on the account.

Each of your tools attaches through an adapter, so swapping a vendor means replacing one adapter, not the system. Reps and marketers work from one queue and one timeline per account. You change targeting, sequences and rules from configuration, not from a developer ticket.

AI is used where it earns its place: drafting first-touch messages from account context, classifying replies and suggesting the next action.

A small fixed core; every tool attaches through a replaceable adapter.

Swap a vendor: replace one adapter. Rules, sequences and history stay.

Why Slingr and not a RevOps platform. The all-in-one platforms ask you to move your data and process into their product and rent the learning back. Agencies run your tools for a fee and leave nothing behind. This is built around your stack, adaptable to the next one, and you keep the system, the data and the playbooks. The only fixed part is the account model and the operations layer; everything attached to it is replaceable. We built ours before we offered to build yours.

Start with the account model and two channels.

Phase one · about 4–6 weeks

Account model, two channels, one queue

The account model, a data source plus one outbound channel, and the rep queue, working on your real target list.

Later phases · about 2–4 weeks each

Add channels and rules

More channels, scoring rules, reply handling and reporting, one phase at a time, each scoped on its own.

Durations are estimates and depend on your stack and targets. At any phase boundary the code, data and specs are handed over in full and portable, and Slingr runs it for you.

What you get at handover

01

Source code

All the custom code we build for you, yours outright.

02

Your data

Every record, on dedicated resources never pooled with anyone else's, so it's ready to move whenever you are.

03

The framework it runs on

Built on open-source technology under Apache 2.0 and MIT licenses, so nothing underneath your app is rented from us.

04

Agent-ready specs

Specifications any AI coding agent can pick up, so your team or another vendor can keep building.

Keep working with us, take it in-house, or hand it to another team. Your call.

Built to keep running as things change.

Care for the Death Star means keeping adapters working as vendor APIs change, tuning rules and scoring with you, adding channels, and watching deliverability and rate limits. It comes with every tier after launch; on its own it is the Run tier, from $3,500 a month, billed separately from the build. For this pattern most clients run on Grow, because the marketing environment changes monthly.

Our own stack

Slingr built and runs its own: prospect sourcing, enrichment and signal scoring, an in-house dialer, email sequencing, LinkedIn and ads, and an operations layer that routes accounts between them.

The first example is Slingr’s own build, described without naming vendors because the vendors change.

Start with one phase. Keep everything you build.

No hours, no seats. Two numbers: what your first phase costs, and which tier you run on after launch.

Step 1 · First phase

Scoped in a SOW

from about $5K
one source plus one outbound channel · the full loop about $10–20K · several brands or portcos phased

First working version in weeks 2–4. No big deposit, and if it takes us longer than the SOW says, you don’t pay more. Your build plan, reviewed by an architect before it reaches you, lands the same day.

Step 2 · After launch

Pick a tier

RunFrom $3,500per monthCare only: we keep adapters working as vendor APIs change and watch deliverability and rate limits.
GrowFrom $9,000per monthCare plus one unit of build capacity: steady new work around your systems.
TransformFrom $20,000per monthCare plus three to four units: replacing a core system while you keep running.

Annual term · a plan of outcomes every quarter · after year one, exit at any quarter boundary. The code handover is already defined in our MSA.

*You own the work as you pay for it: payments are ongoing, and if you stop, everything you’ve paid for up to that point is yours. The frameworks underneath stay open source under Apache 2.0 and MIT — you don’t own them and don’t need to, they run anywhere.

Marketing Death Star is a Slingr name for an engagement pattern, not a product.
